Broadband woes and new additions

We have had a nightmare week with our Virginmedia service, it started with pixelated TV images and ended up with us losing broadband for three whole days!!!!!

I'm ashamed to say it was so stressful in our household my boys both have an Xbox One each, a tablet and laptop each, smart phones, and smart TV's too (ok they are 24 and 26 and buy their own) me and hubby have two tablets each a laptop each, smartphone and smart TV so we are quite reliant on the internet, luckily hubby had tethering included on his mobile contract so I tethered one device from his phone. Anyway all is good now as we have broadband reinstated thank goodness!

Since my last post I have had more Essential Oils delivered, including the famous Chamomile Blue my most expensive EO yet, I'm not sure I especially like the smell if I'm honest, but I'm hoping it will grow on me.

Another purchase this week was an aromatherapy necklace from Etsy and I'm really pleased with it. It came with some scented balls of Patchouli and Vanilla and to be honest I didn't get on with the scent and my work colleagues turned up their noses. The next day I changed the scent for Grapefruit and lemon EO and it was lovely and my colleagues at work love it too!

It came with some spare scented balls but as I didn't like the smell I was looking for something that I could add EO's to and I found these fabulous little felt balls in Tesco which did the job just fine :-)

They are meant for kiddies arts and crafts collages I believe, but for £1.23 they are perfect!

Lazy Sunday

The day after my last post more oils arrived,  Benzoin,  Lemon,   Lime,  Lavender Moutte , Ravensara Juniper Berry  and Rosewood,  I also placed an order Friday night for Chamomile Blue,  Black pepper,  Basil,  Citronella,  Clove bud and Palmarosa. Chamomile Blue is my most expensive oil yet at just under £20 for 10ml but it is in so many recipes especially  for skin complaints  and relaxation so I think I will get a lot of use from it.

Well dry January is over,  I had wine Friday night  and had a headache all day Saturday  and I thought do you know what I can't be bothered going back to drinking  as much as I used to so yesterday I had a couple of cans of cider that was in the fridge and nothing today,  despite hubby drinking wine.  Let's see how long I last.

Going back to my potions post,  I think I was a bit hasty about saying the Neem oil potion didn't  help,  I do think when I use the cream it irritates less so I am going to carry on with it and see how it goes.

Another useful but slightly frustrating thing I found out today.  I recently bought Ylang-ylang  lll only to find that the lll means it has been through 3 distillation processes which means it has hardly any therapeutic properties left and is mostly used for its perfume.  So my next order will include ylang-ylang extra.

Another purchase I made last week was the  Ayan Diffuser   and I love it. I have been busy looking up different diffuser Blends to put in it. I have been using it constantly and even taking it up to bed with me.  It's very relaxing and supposed to have lots of health benefits.  I was going to add a photo but I'm blogging from my bed on my android tablet and I can't find an option to add a photo.  How weird? You'll have to wait until tomorrow.
